Blog EntryIts MULTIPLY APPRECIATION WEEK!! Jan 18, '08 11:50 AM
for everyone
This week you all need to post a blog about why you love Multiply. Please write a thank you POST to the Multiply Team, set it to everyone, and post the link in the following thread, to be forwarded to Staff with the rest of them!!  Please tag them thanks so they can be found ez. This goes on all week, here are some things that are suggested for a daily blog.

"As Multiply Appreciation Week continues, you can still write about what you like most here at Multiply, but Dantcer and I got in a little huddle last night and decided that it might be fun to have themed posts for every day of this week.  So if you want to join in on the fun, feel free to post something for any of the following themes:

Friday (18 January 2008): The beginning of Multiply Appreciation Week, this day has also been called Bandwidth Friday.  Many people posted their thoughts on what they like about Multiply.
Saturday (19 January 2008): The coolest/best thing that's ever happened to me because of Multiply.
Sunday (20 Jan 08): The weirdest thing that's ever happened to me because of Multiply.
Monday (21 Jan 08): (Like Monday's... only different.) The weirdest thing I've ever seen/heard/encountered because of Multiply.
Tuesday (22 Jan 08): My "Ah Ha!" Moment on Multiply -- The day when I realized that I really love this place.
Wednesday (22 Jan 08): My friends on Multiply. (How you met them. Or what you love about them. etc.)
Thursday (22 Jan 08): Without Multiply I would be... (How has Multiply changed your life?)"

You guys rock!!! Those of us from 360 know about bad or non existent Customer Service. We were worn out , bone weary of fighting with them and trying so hard to protect ourselves on there from the loonies of the world. Nothing that they gave us to protect ourselves with...actually worked so it got really ugly there. I asked a blog savvy friend ...where can I go that is alot like 360? While Ive been around computers for many yrs.....blogging was fairly new to me and coding and such well I haven't a clue. He told me (thanks uncle sal) go to Multiply.

So I did. When I got here I didn't have a clue what to do. I somehow found a 360 group and in there it showed how to do the themes just like we did there and I was off! I wandered around and found
a few groups including User Support and the Multiply staff blog. I read alot and watched and listened and found out that I had so much more available here to me than that other place. Multiply rocks.......there's real people who really answer your questions and help you. They took some of our suggestions even and implemented them here. The other place would have ignored us.

And when I had a problem....there was help.....tons of help! Imagine ,real people who actually care and talk to me! What a concept lolol. Now I will not say figuring all this out was ez at first but...if you plod along and talk to folks and ask questions you can make a great page.

But what impressed me the most was there were real people who cared. Customer service actually answers you...now not always right away but hey that's ok. At 360 you got a form email and nothing else but rules of what to do . And if you had been there for any length of time you knew what they were and did them already before you sent that email. They didn't get it and just sent more form emails and never fixed the issues.

I got emails from real people here.....talking to me...not a form letter. That's Customer Service. And yes they did get back to me! I'm sure they are all worn out after the influx of 360 folks and yet they keep on being nice to us. You whiners out there from 360 really need to stop it now!! You forget how bad it was there. I think your all stuck in whining mode. Multiply is awesome!

I hear many are upset about the music issue. I don't use music so for me it doesn't matter but I could see where I might be upset if they took away my recipe module. But frankly we all know the music industry has been shutting all this down so folks don't copy the stuff. There are copyrights and while I don't agree with the music industry , hey that's their biz. Multiply has to protect their butts. If they get sued there may not be a Multiply. Recipes are different. I am a chef....you cannot prove where they come from and there's nothing new under the sun. Even pictures.....other than watermarking your stuff there's really not much they can do.

Multiply you just keep on what your doing. I love that you let us know sometimes when you will be shutting down for maintenance. That's important to many of us bloggers. Nothing like losing your stuff in the middle of a shutdown.  And thank you Multiply for listening to us tired old 360 folks over and over and even listening to our suggestions. We came over en masse and that couldn't have been easy but I was impressed by how classy you handled it all. This is a great place to hang out here that you built and I'M STAYING!

I LOVE YOU MULTIPLY!!!!!!!!!!
PS .......Where else does the Actual CEO get involved with stuff like this? Thank you Pez for caring so much. Big Huge Hugs to you and your staff!!!!!!!
